qPCR Workshop

under the supervision of Neven Zoric
powered by TATAA Biocenter
www.TATAA.com

This qPCR workshop is aimed at giving participants a deeper understanding of real-time quantitative PCR and its applications. The courses are intended for persons interested in, or starting out with the technology.
The course covers all aspects in qPCR, from sample preparation to data analysis and is held during 3 days. The course is approximately 50% hands-on as is limited to 15 participants, resulting in very interactive teaching and everybody given the opportunity to try the instrumentation.
After the course participants will be able to plan and perform qPCR experiments themselves, as well as interpret and analyze data.

The cost of the Workshop is 550 Euro and includes course material, lunch and snacks.

Arrivals

Arriving by train

When you arrive in Leipzig by train you step out of the Main station (the main railway station) directly into the centre of the city. The station was completed in 1915 and with its 24 platforms it is the biggest terminus station and also one of the largest passenger railway stations in Europe.

The excellent railway links mean you can reach Leipzig rapidly and reliably. From here you can easily reach your accommodation or visit the many sites of the city and its surroundings using the Leipzig Municipal Transport Services bus and rail transport. Further information is available to you on arrival from the LVB Mobility Centre opposite the Main station and naturally in our City Guide too.

Arriving by air

The quickest way to reach Leipzig if you are coming some distance or from abroad is by air.
You will land at Leipzig/Halle Airport, about 18 km from the city centre. You can reach the centre by train from the airport in 14 minutes arriving at the Main station - in the middle of Leipzig.

From here you can easily reach your accommodation or visit the many sites of the city and its surroundings using the Leipzig Municipal Transport Services bus and rail transport. Further information is available to you on arrival from the LVB Mobility Centre opposite the Main station and naturally in our City Guide too.

If you haven’t got a ticket, you can buy one at the Airport from an LVB ticket machine. The these are located in the arrivals area at the access to the railway platforms.
